Mewbrew Privacy Policy

Mewbrew is made by Bramblebit, the studio name of the independent developer shown as the seller of Mewbrew on the App Store, based in the Republic of Korea ("we"). We are responsible for the data described here. We built Mewbrew so you can play without giving us any personal information.

The short version

• No account, no sign-up, no name or email address.
• No ads, no in-app purchases, no analytics or tracking tools, no chat.
• We do not sell or share your data, and we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Game progress

Your shop, coins, diamonds, outfits and settings are saved on your device. We never receive them. They may be included in your own device or iCloud backups. Deleting the app deletes this data from the device.

Daily challenge leaderboard (optional)

The first time you finish a daily challenge, the game asks whether to join the ranking. Your scores are sent only if you say yes, and you can turn this off at any time in Settings (RANKING). If you join, the game sends to our leaderboard server:

• a random player ID created on your device (not linked to your name, Apple ID or device identifiers),
• a nickname made from a preset list of words, such as "Sleepy Fox", assigned at random (you can reroll it; there is no free text),
• your score, the challenge day, the shop you played and the platform (for example "ios").

We use this only to show the leaderboard. Scores are deleted automatically after 30 days.

Opening the RANKING screen downloads the day's top scores from the same server, even if you have not joined; in that case no player ID or score is sent.

Server logs

Like most web servers, our leaderboard server (api.bramblebit.com) records the IP address, time and device type (user agent) of each request. We use these logs only for security and to prevent abuse, such as fake scores, and delete them after 14 days. We do not use them to identify you.

Game Center (iPhone and iPad)

If you are signed in to Apple Game Center and have joined the ranking, your challenge scores are also posted to Game Center. Game Center is operated by Apple under Apple's Privacy Policy. We do not receive your Apple ID or contact details.

Why we process this data

• Leaderboard data: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time in Settings.
• Server logs: our legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and fair.

Where the data is stored and who helps us

• Leaderboard server and logs: Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, Chuncheon region, Republic of Korea.
• This website and our support email forwarding: Cloudflare, Inc. (global network).
• Game Center: Apple.

These providers process data only on our behalf or under their own privacy policies. We do not use any advertising or analytics providers.

Children

Mewbrew is suitable for all ages. We do not ask for or knowingly collect personal information such as names or contact details from anyone, including children. The leaderboard uses preset nicknames only and can be switched off in Settings. Parents can contact us at any time to remove leaderboard scores.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, to withdraw consent and to object to processing. Turn the leaderboard off in Settings, or email us with your nickname and the day to have scores removed sooner. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

Security

Data is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to the server and database is restricted to us.

This website

bramblebit.com does not use cookies, analytics or ads, and its fonts are served from our own site. Cloudflare, which hosts the site, processes your IP address to deliver pages and protect against attacks.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date above.
